United in America

The Vision

The heart of the project lies in an original anthem titled United in America. This powerful song challenges us all to reach out to our neighbors, find common ground, and celebrate our freedom together. The goal is to foster a stronger, safer, and happier society, starting at the grassroots level – our neighborhoods, communities, states, and nation.

The project envisions a professionally recorded song accompanied by a compelling music video. The video will feature The Choral Majority Gospel Choir & Band, joined by kids choirs and friends with special needs. Highlighting the diverse faces of the Merrimack Valley and Greater Boston communities, the project aims to showcase the myriad of people that make up the fabric of our beloved “hometown”.

The culmination of this musical journey will be the premiere of the video on YouTube with full press and promotional support. The aim is to make a resounding impact and spread the message of unity, hope, and love.

The Origin Story

The inspiration behind United in America dates back to 2020, a year that saw the tragic death of George Floyd. Witnessing a world coming together in an open-hearted appeal for understanding, the creators believed that “the dream” was finally becoming a reality. But subsequent events have revealed a nation that feels more fractured than ever.

Performing the song in these times has elicited a powerful and moving response. The creators believe that “United in America” can be a beacon of hope for the future, fostering hometown pride and love of country that unite us all.

The Choral Majority Gospel Choir has a history of organizing or appearing in benefit events for various causes, including education, homelessness, and community welfare. While joyously sharing the Gospel in their music, the group does not proselytize but instead focuses on conveying the power of unity in diversity.

Eric W. Lindahl and Robin Allison Lindahl, the founding directors, “Thank you and God bless you.” The United in America Project is not just about creating music; it’s about creating a movement that inspires positive change and brings people together in the spirit of unity and love.

United in America

It's time to stand united in America
To feel the pride of a nation wide, diversified and strong
Yes it's time to stand united in America
To refuse the views of hate
'Cuz it's love that made us great, here in America.

A small mind makes the heart blind
Deep down, you know we're all the same
We're looking for love and joy
As we share the voyage of life, our gift to claim
When will we see, we are blessed to just be free
Let us live our liberty
Get to know each other, sister, brother
Live the dream.
